"I'd be finding the next level of competition to move up to. And deciding, do you want to be the big fish in the small pond for the rest of your life or do you want to compete to be at the highest level of competition that you can. That was always a question that I had with my dad and myself growing up and it was always that I wanted to play at the highest level competition. It was never 'I want to be on the field', it was just 'I want to compete at the highest level'. And in doing that, I think that, at a young age, I was never scared of people that were great around me. It was more that I was inspired by them."
